On the morning of April 14, 2026, Da Lat University held a working session with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Vietnam to exchange ideas and promote cooperation in training and developing the field of Japanese Studies.
From JICA Vietnam:
- Mr. Ohi Toshiaki – Chief Representative, serving as the Head of the Delegation, along with members of the delegation.
From Da Lat University:
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Ngoc – Vice President.
- Leaders of various units: Department of Science, Technology, and International Cooperation; Department of Student Affairs; Department of Academic Affairs; Faculty of International Studies.
- Lecturers from the Japanese Studies program.

During the working session, JICA representatives learned about and discussed the university’s Japanese Studies curriculum, including:
- Teaching contents, development needs, and future orientations.
- Extending the term of service for the JICA volunteer currently working at the University.
- Potential opportunities to expand cooperation in training, academic support, and cultural exchanges. The working session took place in an open, cooperative, and effective atmosphere. It has contributed to consolidating and developing the collaborative relationship between Da Lat University and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), aiming to enhance training quality while accelerating the internationalization of the University’s educational activities.
